Anyone who's made the ggg EF440

Do you know what ohm resistor to use for the LED?
The layout specifies nothing. Unfortunately I do not have a multimeter to test this.
I used a 47 ohm resistor because that is what comes with the led's off effectsconnection and they have worked for my rat and rebote.
The 47 ohm resistor caused the led to not light up.
Then when I removed the resistor all together the led caught fire and made a little hole in my carpet.

it says on the parts layout 1k. But it really all depends on what your LED needs. It should say it on the packaging or whereever you bought it from.

just start with a 1k resistor. If its to bright, use a bigger resistor. If its not bright enough, use a smaller resistor. Wash, rinse, and repeat until you have a desirable result.

Just test it with the battery, led, and resistor. Then when you have the desired brightness, put the right size resistor on the pcb. This will save you soldering and desoldering time.
