Hi,
I have one of those Boss FS-5U ulatching footswitches.

http://www.bossus.com/gear/productdetails.php?ProductId=57

I want to use it as a mute switch at the end of my signal after my delay pedal. I guess I have to wire in a small box an input and an output jack and a jack to connect the footswitch to that box. Does anybody know how to wire the jack that the Boss FS-5U connects to the input/output jacks?
Thanks in advance

sorry, I don't think I understand the question, but...

Are you just trying to make a mute box? If so, why don't you just put a spdt or dpdt switch in an enclosure and wire that up to mute?

Thanks for the reply. I think I figured it out on my own. I don't want to use a dpdt because I want to be able to use the box as a kind of killswitch but at the end of signal chain. There is this effect that I often do by using this Boss footswitch and a two channel amp with footswichable channels. I wanted to be able to achieve the same when playing through a single channel amp. As I said, I think I've figured out so no worries. Thanks for taking the time to answer though.
Cheers
