Ok so when I started building clones, one of my first was the ts 808 clone on general guitar gadgets.  I built this a while back, and now the Op Amp seems to keep blowing.  In the past month I have replaced 3, and I'm not sure what could cause this.  I have double checked to make sure my power supple is 9 V, but I have no idea after there.

Any insight would be much appreciated.

PLEASE borrow a meter from someone and measure the voltage at pin 8 of the chip.

Which pin on the chip should be ground? I cant find any info about the pins on the net?

The chassis will be ground, and so will the nut that attaches the pot to the chassis.

Try searching google for "dual op amp". Below is a link to a picture of the pinout for a dual op amp.

Here's a link or two where you can search for semiconductor data sheets. Data sheets will show you the pins.
