Hi, everyone. This is my first post, so please be nice. :icon_redface:

I breadboaded a fuzz face a week ago using the beavis board (an awesome kit by the way. dano's always been extremely helpful with my stupid questions!). This is THE fuzz I've been looking for. Just 2 transistors, 3 capacitors and 4 resistors to make this sound? Wow! :icon_exclaim:

I guess I prefer silicon transistors to germanium ones. I personally love the combination of high-gain and low/mid-gain transistors in the circuit. I'm currently using 2N5088 (high-gain) and 2N3440 (low/mid-gain) in Q1 and Q2 respectively. I'd like to make this in a pedal form eventually, but I'd like to try out as many transistors as possible before doing so. Just wondering if anyone here would like to recommend me some silicon (or even germanium) transistors in this application.

Thanks for you help in advance.
