Rebote 2.5 debug

Okay, just finished a rebote 2.5 and have 2 major problems.


The first is that if I turn the repeats knob up even a tiny bit it goes into self destruct mode basically and starts pumping out disgusting gated sounds that increase in volume and can only be stopped by turning the repeats knob back down.

The second is that with the repeats knob all the way down, I get delay, however it doesn't sound great and also the bottom 2 strings' repeats are harshly distorted/gated.

The 5v regulator is doing its job correctly.


Any thoughts?

Anyone 



Are pt2399 static sensitive? I just handled them as if they were a resistor or capacitor.
