the rectifet is just like the first version of dr boogie..
the current version of dr boogie (at gaussmarkov´s page) is an improved project..

i've tried 39k in the q3 source resistor before, just as in the rectifet, it doesn't sound as good. the dr boogey has incorporated many improvements to make the necessary adjustments since tubes and jfets are different.
