You can buy a cheap tool at bike shops to take chains apart easily and ask them for broken chains. I have a ton of those little links.

I've never even thought about buying stuff like that because they're always simple enough to make myself. A bit tedious but after a while it gets pretty quick and the added bonus is that each one is a little different. Just cut strips from aluminium and then drill the holes at 30mm the 20mm alternately then cut them apart with good aviation snips and tidy up with a file. Added bonus being that that kind of work is exactly the same as what you'll need to be doing to make your own amp enclosures.

IIRC, John Lyons was considering offering pedal-specific versions of this kind of thing awhile back, but not many people were interested. It might be worth asking him if the above options don't work for you :)
