R.G Easy Vibe LFO ramp up/down mods with automatic Gradually speedshift??????

Hi all

I was searching on Youtube for Easy vibe samples to compare with my own build when I stumbled on this.

It's the "Option 5 Destination Rotation Single Vibe Pedal" I have never heard of it but it is a really cool and well sounding pedal. Is a sort of a remake of a "Vibratone rotating speaker" like a Leslie effect. The fetcher that impressed me the most was its ability accelerate/retardate the LFO automatically like the time it took for the original mechanically rotating speaker to accelerate or retardate in rotation speed.

I've been meaning to build the ROG Phozer http://runoffgroove.com/phozer.html fore a while and now for sure. I think it could be modded to sound something like this. (the Easy Vibe migt maby be eaven better) Slow and fast switching could maybe be fixed by using the Easy Vibe LFO with the R.G ramp up/down mods. http://www.geofex.com/FX_images/ramp-lfo.pdf
But I have no clue how to make the LFO accelerate/retardate to the dialed in speeds when switching between the two.

Big voltage accumulation Cap and bleeding resistor on the switch to drain slowly and by this slowly changing the voltage??

R.G's ramp mod for the easyvibe does exactly what you want, it accelerates or decelerates between speeds when you switch between the 2 speed pots.

That's what C1 and the "ramp rate" pot do in the ramp mod. When you switch between the 2 speed pots C1 charges or discharges to the new voltage at a rate set by the "ramp rate" pot.

Nice, didn't  understand that it did just that. I toughed it just switched betwen two speedsettings. That's why I didn't include it in my Easy Vibe build. Now I have to remake this one and also test it with the Phozer as well. lots of testing to do for me then

Hey there,

I have tried this mod and it works.  I even made a layout, however, we are experiencing some issues with my layout.  I am currently trying to solve it in conjunction with R.G.'s help, but I am also going to eventually design an alternate layour that will hopefully alleviate the problems I had with it.

As well, the pot values and such may need some tweaking to get the best gradation in speeds and ramp up/down speed.
