Anyone hear of a Gristle King?

fixing some guys pedal board/power supply and one of these is in here.
TC electronics, why does that sound familiar? Any of you guys?
Seems to be a TS variant, sounds good.

TC Electronics may sound familiar, but that's a different company than the one that makes the GK. That company is TC Jauernig Electronics. The Grsitle King and the Diabolical Gristle King get good reviews from most as does the Twin Rate Tremolo.

I think the T. C. Jauernig stuff is all jfet based.

I heard one once and was floored.  Absolutely floored.  I don't say that about hardly any pedal, but yeah that one is something to behold.

The Gristle King was created and named by Greg Koch.... He's a funny dude and friends with Tim Jauernig.   I always thought the GK and DGTM were Modified Tube Screamers with clipping switches.

Nope, the overdrives are opamp feedback clipper circuits.
