Like the title says, I want to build an EA tremolo, and will probably need help. The hardest project I have done up to this point would probably be a peppermill overdrive. I plan on using this layout here:

I plan to do both of the mods for it found here:

A couple questions:
1: I really liked the soundclips at ROG, I notice Andrew's layout is "Modified", how different is the sound than the ROG version?
2: Are the mods verified?
3: Could I make and additional modification by running C8 to a DPDT in order to switch between a 1uf and a .68 uf cap, AKA a "fast" switch?

Thanks all!

It is modified in the sense that ROG already modified the pedal from the original.

Building according to Andy's layout will give you a pedal that is the same as the one at ROG. Also look at the notes/mods at ROG.

Here is what I found at ROG:
http://runoffgroove.com/eatremolo.html
Not a whole lot of info on possible mods that were not covered in the vero layout.
And I'm really curious if I can run C8 to a DPDT in order to switch between a 1uf and a .68 uf cap.

Hey Svstee,

Just for my 2 cents worth as a not great buidler myself can I reccomend at least having a look at the heart throb tremolo. See http://www.diystompboxes.com/smfforum/index.php?topic=64672.0 I found it about as easy to build as the EA but with a lot more range. All the best for the build.

No picture in the thread you posted, says its unavailable. I'll check it out though.
