TS808 first attempt

R6 is going to the bus you call Vc.
Are you sure the bus is connected all the way? You may have to bridge it halfway. Have you secured continuity?

Yes, I bridged it halfway of the breadboard and I checked that where I need to have Vc I get Vc, and the same for V+ and ground

Ladies and Gentlemen... WE MADE IT!!!
I substituted the Ge diodes with standard ones, and it works... it has a great sound too!!!
Let me now check it extensively!

One of those diodes must have been a bad part, I would discard them both.

Thanks, bot there's now a little problem... There is a "click" that periodically comes out... maybe something that has to do with a capacitor discharging??

No, it's still there, even if I tweak the tone pot or the volume pot...

To find the click sound you need to go audioprobe again and see where it originates.
Don't trash the good Ge diod. Just test them to see which one conducts in both directions.

yeah, this is a great forum, there is no problem without solution, and this forum is the solution to our problems (in deed I think you can even post a problem with a non working washing machine or a non working dishwasher and you get it solved !!!    )

I just wired the TS808 to my preamp and... shazaam!! No click anymore!!
Tried some diodes, and to me, the 1N4007 sound great!
As soon as I can I'll post some clips!

Did you have it sitting next to your computer while testing? Because when my buddy installed wireless internet in his studio we got clicking over all our tracks. I'm no expert on the subject but maybe the wireless signal was bleeding.
