Can anyone tell me what this is comparable too.

I got it on my breadboard right now, not working yet, got clean signal but no fuzz or distortion yet, rechecking everything as I type.

I've looked at the scheme several times over the last year but never got around to building.

Now I am re-interested

How does it sound compared to other overdrives or distortions you have used?

I love it, hearing 3 distinct tones coming out is way cool (kinda reminds me of SRV's muti amp setup), the only problem each of the sounds in and of themselves arent that great, but a really cool concept, gonna continue modding hopefully get it to sound better.
