Hello everyone,

I had to transfer my Tonepad small clone to a different enclosure and now it doesn't work.  I have been able to troubleshoot it down to a problem with something on the board and not the offboard wiring.  I have been able to trace the signal from the output of the MN3007 all the way to the Amp 2- input of the JRC4558 (which is my only parts substitution... I'm actually using an RC4559P which I believe has the same pinout).  I get nothing on the Amp 2+ input as well as nothing on the Amp 2 output.  I have a socket in place and so I've swapped out 5 or 6 different dual opamps (NE5532, RC5532, a different RC4559P) but get the same results so I'm tending to lead towards it not being a problem with a bad opamp.

Here are my voltages:

Let me know if you see any weirdness in the voltages and what things I could check on.  Thanks in advance for any feedback.

8  7.27   <--------------------- Your +9v!!!  Either the battery is crappy or something is pulling it pretty hard...
Please check the battery voltage out of the Small Clone clone...

If you've got nothing on the input then that is what a faithful OP will give you at it's output!    :)  OP's rock!
Check before, like the 10k

No sound at all? No chorusing? It plays crappy?   ???

Link to the project and people will throw themselves over your troubled little stompbox.    ;)

Take care

I think something is pulling on the voltage.  I'm actually running off a +9V power supply that is tested and working well.

The project I'm going off of is http://www.tonepad.com/getFile.asp?id=97.

I"ll check that resistor next.
