Make a Log Pot out of a linear pot

I have had trouble finding logarithmic potentiometers to use with my audio projects. So I found out a great tutorial on how to turn a regular linear pot into a pot behaving somehow like a log pot (not exactly though) by placing a fixed resistor between 2 of the pins (normally a 10% value of the pot).
