Found this layout for the red ranger, Its another one of torchys!

Does anyone know what A,B,C,D and E are, downloaded the schematic and i'm none the wiser! Unless you can buy DPDT toggle switches aswell as foot switches! that would kinda make sense! but then aren't they numbered, not lettered! if so i can only presume that A=1, B=2, etc!

Sorry for the dumbass questions, but i'm a noob!! And this DPDT,SPDT, double pole, centre off, switch thing has completely thrown me!

Anybody who knows of a site that has them all layed out with pinouts etc, Could you please share this info!

Thanks all!

I'm working off the top of my head, but I believe it's a DPDT center-off switch.

Yea, thats what the schematic says, but does the centre off mean its a toggle switch? or is it a foot switch?

Cheers.

Sorry for the thread hi-jack.  But would a 3906 work in instead of a 5089 in this circuit?

Lol! no probs! the layout i've got doesn't have any 5089's! only 2 5088's and 1 5087. But i think the 5087 can be changed for a 3906.

Switch pins A-E are labelled on the home-wrecker schematic and the trochy layout matches that. The perf layout shows which pins are which on a dpdt centre-off toggle switch.
The tonepad page actually references the home-wrecker schematic.
I have built this one and works fine. Just have to reference the ROG archive site. Dont think trochy maintains them as its indyguitarist site.
