I followed this instructions posted in another thread:

lift the right side of the 33k resistor above IC2 (you can actually make it 15k or 20k, you will have more volume control on the repeats only, at 33k unity between dry and delayed signal is when level pot is maxed but sometimes in band settings you loose the effect, reducing this resistor will have unity at 75% travel of the pot, leaving you a 25% boost for the wet signal)...

soooo, lift the right side of the resistor, send it to your effect send, then bring back the effect return lead to where the resistor was connected (right side pad) and voilà... i suggest using a switching jack in the effect send so when nothing is inserted the signal goes back to where it would normally...

with wht i said here, only the delayed signal will be sent through the loop. the dry will remain dry...

R.

PS: if you plug another amp in the send jack, you will have a stereo delay...

...and it works, but when i plug another pedal in the loop i lose control over the repeats level and they get VERY loud. Is there something wrong with the way it's done?
in conservative stompboxes, tone is neither created nor destroyed, but transformed

are you using it as a separate out or loop?  i can see it jumping in volume because its no longer running through the pot described but without a schematic i can't be sure.

chilecocula

I use it as a loop, and according to the schematic the 33k resistor is after the level pot just before the output mixer, so i should be able to control the level.

double check your wiring then.  it sounds like a solid mod from the instructions you gave.

#4
The lug of the level pot that needs to be grounded wasn't, ,now i can control the level of the repeats when i plug a pedal to the loop...but whenever i have a pedal in the loop everything gets noisier and certain pedals do not behave correctly. I tried a metal zone, a rat, a fuzz factory, a chorus and a tremolo and only the metal zone and the rat worked as expected. Is that an impedance issue? should the loop  be buffered like the moog's analog delay's loop?

Well, i tried using a sho as a buffer between the effects and the return and the noise and weirdiness is gone, so the return needs to be buffered.

excellent detective work!
