How to solder to a pot?

How do you solder to one of the pots three holes using solder-it paste? Thanks for any help!

I've never used solder-it paste, but to make the connection place the lead of your wire through the hole and fill the hole with solder.

tin the wire and the hole, then put the wire on the tinned surface, apply heat and add a bit more solder.
