I've been looking at these to use with my lap steel, but for the tone control to be on 10, the face of the pedal has to be twisted all the way over to the right.  In my strat I have a mod that uses the dual pot from the Fender TBX tone control, so that turning it down is the full tone range, and turning the other way uses the 1Meg pot to basically remove it from the circuit.  Would this kind of pot work in the Fender Volume & Tone pedal?

Wow-I guess every vintage pedal has been reissued at one time or another.

I've no idea, but is this the one where tone change is from side to side? That is a wonderful sound used to great effect by an English band called The Hunters in 1960-61 on instrumentals.

That's the one; they've also re-issued the regular Volume pedal, the big phaser, the Fender Blender, and the Fuzz/Wah.

I know I was looking at photos of the inside the other day, but I can't find 'em now.  Might've been on Ebay...

Screw it, I didn't need the Tone control anyway, so I scored an original low-profile Fender volume pedal from the '50s on Ebay!
