Very very nice Paul.. totally inspired me to build something similiar (in fact would probably shamelessly copy your excellent design). Although when I  mentioned my intention to my wife her reaction was one of "well howabout you fix my cooker hood first, and sort out the leak in the shower.. and.." etc etc.. So am now pursuing the usual course of proceeding on plan, will make it then buy wife flowers. Women's sense of priorities are all wrong.

You catch more flies with honey than with vinegar. I would do some of the things she asks, while at the same time doing your project. Treat a woman right, and she will treat you like a king. Ask me how I know.  :icon_wink: Yes, it is true that men and women have completely different priorities.  :icon_neutral:

Sorry guys, spammers at my forum forced me to do that. I don't know why I even have a forum, there's like no activity at all on it. It's more like a blog for me than it is a forum. Oh well...  :icon_confused:

Paul, how well does the felt hold up? Are you using velcro to hold the pedals down? The board I have now
is covered in a carpet/felt type of material and it "sheds" when you remove the pedal. Now the pedals are pretty
loose fitting, they wont fall off but they are pretty wobbly. I was looking at recovering it and the felt idea seems like a good
one if it is durrable.
Thanks

I don't do velcro, never have. The top half of my pedal board case has foam pieces cut to conform to whatever pedals I have on the board. When the case is closed the pedals stay in place. The foam is hidden by black felt, so you wouldn't know it by looking at it.
