hi guys,
i have a little single ended valve amp 1xEL84 , 2x 12ax7 and one ez80. it has output tranny mounted on an elliptical 6 inch speaker.

i have read about the garner herzog thing which appears to be a small amp with load resistor and /or padded down with capability of plugging into input of larger amp say my 50watt marshall for a juicy distortion sound.

do any of you have the time and patience to tell me how to do this. im ok with solder iron and could wire up a simple circuit / jackplug out if i knew where to hook the wires etc ! the amp has its back panel off just now for ventilation and i can get at all of the circuit board o/p tranny with no access probs.
any advice appreciated!

This is a link from aX84 showing the  Firezog which was the Herzog idea applied to Doug Hammonds Firefly amp.

The firezog is designed specifically for the firefly output stage. You'll have to figure out what you need to do for your amp.
