using millenium 2 bypass with a dpdt, i get a little flash on the led when i plug in the power adapter into the DC jack when the switch is disengaged.  other than that i dont notice anything unusual, seemed weird, any ideas?

Depends on the rest of the circuit and the phase of the moon I think ;)
Maybe the MOSfet turns on through some kind of tiny static charge remaining on the gate when there's no power present and flashes the LED before it tuns off, maybe the output resistor of the circuit needs some tiny amount of  time to pull the control down to ground after power is applied, compared to the leaked charge through the 1N4148 . I'm sure there's some people able to nail this theoretically, but as long as it works ok and there's no DC pops I wouldn't worry about it.

thanks, yeah everything works fine so i guess it'll just have that quirky blink at the start  :icon_wink:
