Can someone give me some part numbers of any common delay chips. Digital or analog, that have an input, an output and a delay between the two that can be set. Preferable not new old stock like the SAD1024. I'd like to be able to purchase it from somewhere like Farnell or RS.

Thank you

Owen.

There's also the MN32xx line (clones of at least the MN3205 & MN3207 are currently manufactured).  Take a look at Small Bear's Delay & Echo ICs.

I'm guessing you're in the UK as you mention RS and Farnell? The only place I've found here that sells delay chips is Cricklewood Electronics but they aren't cheap (£6 for a MN3007 and £4 for the MN3101 clock source).

One of the easiest chips to use is the PT2399 as it doesn't require an external clock source. I got a batch of them cheap on Ebay a couple of years ago and I'm never going to build 20 delays, so PM me if you'd be interested in buying some of my spares.
Bringing you yesterday's technology tomorrow.
