What transistors are you supposed to use in the companion fuzz? I am trying to finish this pedal up today, this is the version I am doing. I am sure I will have debuging questions so stick around, Thanks for the help

It's an over the top fuzz. Any npn should work. 2n2222, 2n3904........

yeah 2n3904 are good, bc108 are good too.

if you want to squeeze more out of the circuit wiring up the fuzz pot differently and the adjustable scoop mod are well worth the extra effort.  both mods are documented on the forum.

You can still get 2SC536F transistors. I picked up 20 here http://www.dalbani.co.uk/login.php

I have an original and the hfe on the transistors (2SC536) was somewhere in the mid-200's.
