well i have a cheap dmm (buying another one is NOT an option for me right now) i was wondering is there a way of measuring a capacitor using a circuit  with a dmm that measures diode drop voltage, amperage?

Look at it this way- everyone rags on air guitar here because everyone can play guitar.  If we were on a lawn mower forum, air guitar would be okay and they would ridicule air mowing.
