Blue Clipper Bleed Through - Doh!

Tried substituting new-clipper-value input/output caps in my 70's blue clipper.  assumed it would be super ez ... of course traces lifted immediately.  i'm so pissed ...

my real q. is re- slight fuzz bleedthrough i'm hearing when effect is off . can anyone lend a hand?

Yeah, the old models were wired up with really bad bypass switching.  Your easiest option would be to rewire it for true bypass.
