Ok so I am new to this site, and I must say that everything i have seen thus far is pretty amazing.
I just got done traking a record with my band and we used an OCD fulltone, which sounds brilliant.
I was wondering if anyone could help me out with the difficulty level of build something very similer to
an ocd fulltone. Where would I start?

Hi demolitiondeejay!

First off, welcome!

I'm currently building an OCD.  I'm using a PCB made by Madbean.  He only sells the pcb's, along with build information, its not a kit. about $15-20.  In my opinion, its much easier/faster than using vero/strip board.

I've got my own supply of components, mostly from EffectsConnection.com and I prefer to get pre-painted/drilled enclosures from PedalPartsPlus.com.  If you want to build an OCD, you'll have to source your own parts, etc.  But you have a few options for the board.  Madbean is probably the easier way to go, its like solder-by-numbers.  If you're interested in getting a board from Madbean, pm me with your email address and I will forward his most recent newsletter to you.

If this is your first build, i would strongly suggest starting with a Kit build from generalguitargadgets.com or buildyourownclone.com.  They have lots of classic circuits and come with all the parts and great service, support and instructions.

good luck!

The Voodoo Lab circuit is fairly simple and sounds OCDish and can be perfed pretty easy.

This OCD is just a modified version of the Voodoo Lab OD.
Here's a schem for it:

its a bit more than just subbing part values though, i wouldn't call it a clone, but the general arrangement of op-amp to clippers is intact.
