  They seem 'voltage controlled' or something.
  These worked on a 9vdc circuit, but any CL resistor stops the lighting, I stopped trying at some low ohmage ~220.
  12.3vdc blows the LED.
  Looks like they expect to see a certain voltage to light, anything above X amount and they fry.
  2 out of 3 used to test, 1 left.
