Hello,

I'm soo Happy I found this forum.

I've noticed that some of the RM Octavias sound different from one another.  I'm wondering if this is just from using different components, or because some of them weren't build properly.  Mine sounds like it wasn't built properly.

I recently built a RM Octavia pedal, using the Pedal Pad PCB.

I've checked the resistor values, wiring, and polarity of the caps/diodes.

From what I've read on this forum, it sounds to me like the pedal is not biased properly, as it squelches when the input is hit hard.  And I'm not sure how to fix it.

The other question I had was:
The schematic says that I need to use a 10 k rev log pot.  Can I substitute a 10 log pot?  Or do I need to have the rev log?

Thanks
