anyone have a diagram for a 2 in 1 box pedal with a switch to switch the order the pedals are run in the chain? I have built 2 in 1's before but i want to be able to switch the chain order. i've seen it done and was wondering if anyone had a diagram or some insight. thanks

I know, but the pedal i built does not boost...it just increases volume!

That's exactly what you need, just treat the send and return jacks like the inputs and outputs on your effects (or the switches that turn your effects on and off)

I do this in pretty much every twin pedal I make, and I've found that I almost NEVER feel the need to reverse the order of the effects on the fly, so instead of a stomp switch I just use a toggle.  And because you can actually see the position of the actuator when using a toggle (you know, "up or down") unlike a stompswitch, an LED isn't needed and you can just use a 3pdt toggle, rather than a 4pdt stomper.  Saves you 10 bucks or so.

There's an article on it at geofex; it's called "The Juggler"

does it matter that i'm gonna use the same input/output for both circuits? I'm not doing them seperatly

In response to the questions in the forum - PCB Layout for Musical Effects is available from The Book Patch. Search "PCB Layout" and it ought to appear.
