I built the old version with no problems. This one has a weird noise issue. The voltages match the ones listed on the instructions, I haven't found any bad connections, and everything seems to be grounded. I did put this in a pedal parts plus 125, and it has a brighter LED.

I've swapped cables, changed out transistors, double checked everything, and can't seem to track this down. It does it with both battery and adapter power. It doesn't do it if it's behind a buffered pedal (like my boss tu2 or boss oc2).

I've searched and haven't found anything that sounds like what I'm getting, any ideas on where to start looking?

Hello,

I've read that you obtained the voltages from the instructions (i never do that...).
Can you tell me what transistors did you use andtheir gains?

I had some problems with the noise when i used sometime ago a LPB...I remember that it had on the collector 7V...i replaced it with another one and, after i got 4.5-5V it sounded OK...anyway you must to test how SECF sounds without LPB to be easy to locate the problem.

Best regards!
