Switching effects in and out of chain.

Hello.

Inspired by the dude building the Gilmour board I'm loading my pedals into a mini-Gilmourish type board.
I have three compressors I would like to choose from,  with one 3pdt footswitch sending to signal into the compressor zone what would be the best way  of (pre)selecting which compressor will be acitive apart from them all having their own 3pdt toggle switch.

You could use logic switching - three footswitches, one for each compressor, and pressing any one deselects whatever was active before. Pressing the one that's currently active gives you bypass.
