What can I build with a TL074?

I have a few and never seen a layout using one. Anything good to make? Vero layouts of perf if there are any.

I just finished a Phase 180 Plus, an eight stage version of the MXR Phase 90 using two LM324, which have the same pinout as TL074. During my project development I also did a layout for a Phase 90 Plus using one LM324/TL074. You could try that. The layout is a 'squeezed' version of the 180 layout I did, some of the part numbers are ommited.

Transmogrifox

Mutron envelope filter.  Look up "Neutron" for an equal clone.  I can't remember whether there's a layout, but with software like DIY Layout Creator, why do you need a layout if you have a schematic?

A million bazillion things.

I use TL072s, because I often do layouts on perf as I go (rather than beforehand) and I find it easier to lay stuff out with dual opamps instead of quads. But I'm all about the TL opamps. Why on earth did people ever use single opamps? Does anyone ever use the offset pins?

Vitrolin

anything with two opamps and you add it in & output buffers  ;)

Since I've breadboarded it I can only blame myself.

TL074's are so lovely to etch a board for. They're so symmetrical with 4 and 11 being + and - that you put the power supply caps up by 1 and 14 and run the supplies down between the pins then do your Bias down at 7 and 8. Gotta do it twice for 72's. Then you got all that room either side to do the monkeys business. Very logical chips... LM136(7)00 are good that way as well.

+1 on that. I love their pinouts too, so easy to remember.
