big muff clone loosing volume with age?

hey guys its been awhile, i built a GGG muff clone to the rams head specs some time ago. i just noticed that it seems like it doesnt have the oomf that it used to. even if i turn the volume up all the way it doesnt boost that much compared to clean volume. i dont remember where to take measurments either. can someone point me in the right direction?

have you replaced the battery?

yeah, i did that. the batt. was a little low but still not much volume. its still distorted though. ill check out the sticky.
