Smash Drive vs Krank Distortus Maximus

Has anyone made both of these pedals? And do they sound similar, or really different? I am looking for sound clips of Smash Drive if anyone has some.

The Distortus Maximus has a transistor booster in front of the LM386, giving it a lot more distortion.
