Take a quick look at this layout

I've done a vero layout for the Maestro Boomerang Wah, very small to fit inside my guitar. I need a few other pairs of eyes on this layout. Anyone care to give a hand?  ;)

Cuts on board are: A3, B3, C4, D6, E6 and H6

Thanks

Since you saved from doing the layout myself as I have planned, I'll be happy to look it over.

Thanks Carsten, tell me if you see any errors. This layout is pretty tight.  ;)

Hi Magnus

Are there  trace cuts missing in row D and E or are they just hidden under the inductor?

I normally write a note in the layout when I have trace cuts under components. They are easy to miss.

Otherwise it looks good.

Have fun

There's 2 cuts under the inductor, yes. I wrote that in the original post.  ;)

Thanks for making the layout! Are you planning to mount this in the guitar and use it like a wah by hand or to dial in different freq's and use as a fixed wah? Curious! Thanks!

mnordbye

Fixed wah is the plan, but i guess i'll have to try to play with one finger on the knob too sometimes..  ;D

I've already drilled the holes, just have to make the circuit and hook it up. It's gonna be one knob for the frequency, and a switch to turn both the circuit and power on/off, it's a 3pdt toggle.

Neat, man! Thanks! I used to work for Jackson/Charvel and a guitar came in set up with a built in wah just like you described. It took some getting used to, but was fun. Good luck and looking forward to hearing how it comes out!
