Any good schematics for a passive low-pass filter?

I need something to take the edge off a bass fuzz.  I had a BMP tone circuit in there, but the treble side of it is completely useless for a bass player (cuts out too many lows).

I did a search but couldn't find much.  I'm a noob so the simpler (and most simply stated) the better.

Breadboard up one of the SWTC versions. Very simple, but very useful.

One of the easier ways to do it would be to replace the capacitor on one side of the BMP circuit (the one that doesn't go to ground) with a much larger cap, to taste.  This way you won't be cutting bass when you turn the knob clockwise.  Easy mod.  Though, it will affect the tone in other ways...

What values in the BMP tone stack are you using?

Here's something that will help you taylor the BMP tone control:

You can also play with the values of the fuzz circuit's input and output caps. Try some larger values.

Yeah, I've heard about that tone stack calculator multiple times, but I'm on a Mac and it's only for PC.

This is the big muff tone control I used:

I assume you are talking about an adjustable tone control?  I read passive filter and thought back to my filter design class and thought you were asking for a filter topology suggestion.  You could also look at the stupidly wonderful tone control, it gets good reviews.

Yeah. I'm talking tone control.  Everyone keeps suggesting the Stupidly wonderful tone control.  I'm pretty sure that's what 'll do.  Any suggestions for component values to start with?  It's going after a Bazz Fuss.
