Hello.

I've built the red Llama using the vero layout and it sounds pretty good.
I was thinking about shaving off some of the high end shrill as it was too much for my taste playing my Fender. Then I picked up my Les-Paul and suddenly the sound was almost perfect.
So here's what I would like to do. I'd like to shave off some of the basic high end shrill to make it playble on single coils. Then I'd like to be able to switch to a "bright" mode for humbuackers.
Could some one please add it to an existing vero layout (as I'm a noob I can't really add it by my self).
This is the layout I've used :

Thank you

I would recommend a cap (from 100pf -500pf depending on much treble reduction you need) wired with a switch across C5 which is a 100pf cap.  If you use a 3 way on-off-on switch, you could have 3 different settings.  You could do the same with C2, the 51pf cap and use a seperate switch.  Using C2 will cause a treble reduction as the Fuzz is increased, a feature you may or may not like.  Using a double pole switch, you could change both at the same time or C2 for one "on" and C3 for the other.  :icon_cool:

Thnx for the reply.

From what I understand I'm probably looking at doing what you suggested around C5.
Would you mind posting a pdrowing how exactly to connect the switch ?

Thnx again.

Your basically adding another capacitor and a switch in parallel with the existing 100pf cap C5.  Hope this helps.
