So I am trying to get a yellow led to work with my 1.5v maestro fuzztone fz-1a to no avail.  Is it the case that the led requires a minimum voltage to work, and that 1.5v just won't get it lit?  Say it isn't so and that I just have it wired wrong, if not, I will have an unexplained hole in my pedal.
Since when is 3/4 of the way up "cranked"?
