1-spot daisy chain cable question

This could be an R.G. question only.  I bought a 1-spot to power a bunch of pedals I built.  I don't need each pedal to have its own DC jack with the way I have my board set-up.  So that begs the question, why can't I just splice all my power connections together and hook them up to the 1-spot.  Or is there some type of built in filtering in each connection of the daisy chain?  If not, it seems like hooking all power lines together would be equivalent to using a daisy chain that is in essence only a power a ground connection.

You can do your own splicing. The daisy chain pedal is just that, a daisy chain, no filtering per node.

In response to the questions in the forum - PCB Layout for Musical Effects is available from The Book Patch. Search "PCB Layout" and it ought to appear.

Cool.  That's what I thought.  That will save me quite a bit of time and money.  Thanks
