Hey guys,

I am about to build the Rangemaster/Austin Treble Booster using the terminal strip config.

I want to build it with a 3pdt switch so I can have true bypass but I dont want an LED.

I am confused as to how to achieve this hookup. I have the GGG hookup but its for the PCB version and uses an LED. I have the Austin Treble Booster article of course but it doesnt really explain hookup.

Could anyone help me out a bit with this one.

Thanks guys,

Cat

If you don't want to use an LED, save the 3pdt for another project. If it's all you have, use this diagram and ignore the middle lugs.http://www.aronnelson.com/gallery/main.php/v/DRAGONFLY-LAYOUTS_0/The-Mod-Zone-_/EZ_3PDT_WIRING.gif.html

Aah, of course I can have true bypass with a DPDT if I dont want an LED!

Thats be great because 3PDT slide switches are hard to find in my neck of the woods  :)

Thanks rousejeremy,

Of course, you CAN have true bypass AND an LED with only a DPDT if you use the Millenium Bypass. The 3PDT is not the only way to do true bypass plus LED.

I'm sure it is, for some values of a**.   :icon_biggrin:
Other a**es find it a good fit. Depends on your own personal a**, like so much in music.

The Mil BP didn't make it onboard...daft, it can only get uglier from here.
A few parts and some circuit twiddlin' is what it's all about.
