No Guitar Sound from Ring Frobnicator

Hi Folks

I've been working on John Hollis Ring Frobnicator for a couple of days now, but I can't get any guitar signal to come out of it. The oscillator section is working, but all I'm getting out the other end is carrier signal in ring mod mode and the heartbeat thump in tremelo mode - no guitar signal.

I've searched the site for help already and subsequently read through the pile of information available regarding this circuit - so far, it seems most of the advice is directed towards getting the oscillator to function, which like I said, I've already managed.

I've tried tracing the guitar signal from the input - it seems to disappear right after the 330k resistor near the start.

Any suggestions would be appreciated,
