147 pedals was the final count I believe, which makes it a new world record.
Thought some folks might enjoy the pics :)

Honey...Frank and Stein are coming over early [4:00am] to get an early start on the morning debugging shift.

Convention creates following, following creates convention.

Hm...it looks like there are a bunch of buffered-bypass pedals on there. Tone-suck city--they all need to be converted to true bypass to sound like SRV.

Is there a list of what pedals are in there?  :o

Mark Hammer

So are these all unique pedals? i.e., no repeats

MarcoMike

must be a t-rex spindoctors fan... 7 pedals, 4 presets each... it's 28 different settings out of the same pedal... is it even possible?!
Only those who attempt the absurd will achieve the impossible.

My question is how do you play on that thing?  Maybe you stand in the middle and jump from pedal to pedal during the song to make your changes.

Absolutely ridiculous.

Can you really play with that thing ?

QuoteMaybe you stand in the middle and jump from pedal to pedal during the song to make your changes.

Nope you take 3 friends dressed in black on stage, just to switch the effect . But they must be really good to switch the pedals in the same time :icon_lol:

I call shenanigans -- that's a collection of pedalboards strung together, not a single "world's largest pedalboard."

It would sound better if it was 147 DS-1s.

point of interest- Pete Cornish said pedals with true bypass are actually not as good in long signal chains as buffered bypass. This is due to the fact that with all cables between even the best true bypass pedals connected with the best cables have enough capacitance to have signal loss. however with the inclusion of at least one buffered bypass pedal, the integrety of the chain should be intact.

That could be beaten by a Wah, a TB MKII and a Echoplex...

I don't believe that this is true. Who the heck is Pete Cornish, anyway? If I've never heard of him, why should I believe what he says?

Again, this is simply not true. The only thing that can best 147 DS-1s would be 148 or more DS-1s. Please do some research before you post unreliable hearsay.

That is one of the first things I thought of, and pondering that is either going to make it very difficult to sleep, or be the best thing since counting sheep.    :D
Breadboard it!
