Can I add a stomp switch to old Blue MXR 10 band eq?

I am interested in trying to add a stomp switch to an old blue MXR 10 band eq pedal, real old!,.. it has the three pronged chord attatched to it. I am very surprised it does not have a on/off stomp switch.

Has anyone ever added one to this pedal?

Anyone know where i can find a parts layout, or schemeatic for this old thing?

Are you sure you have space in there?  You might be better off the use something like a 1590A (or smaller) to attached an in and out jack and install a stompswitch, and then affixe that to the 10-band chassis.

yeah, I doubt there's room in there. the old mxr 6 band has room, but I doubt the 10 band does. I'd use a loop box.

+1 on that, I looked at mine and maybe it could be done, but it wouldn't be fun

Thanks for the help guys. Great forum! I will probably add a switch in a separate box on the side.
