clari(not) blend knob

HI. just built the midfi clari(not) from frequency centrals perf layout,
An amazing and funny cirquit...been playing around for hours. I have one question though. When I max out the blend knob towards the most modulated signal, the delayed signal is all I hear (meaning: the original note is.. like very low and far away?) Is this normal for this cirquit. Couldn´t find any samples of this setting anywhere.

It is really a great layout....extremely tight. My components had to be forced into place... where do you get those tiny blue caps ( I saw them in your gutshot)

Thanks! Those caps are available from Rapid and Maplin in the UK. I think forumite jacobyjd found a supplier for similar sized caps in the US.

It's not US, but I just got a bunch of ceramic caps--some are blue, some are yellow--from Futurlec. They function just fine as far as I can tell. Here's a link: http://futurlec.com/CapCerMono.shtml

The prices are great on these, and they are TINY.

hmm. Yesterday it was fine, but when i boxed it up today, suddenly I´m always hearing 4 faint repeats, no matter how the controls are set. I can still blend the single repeat in and out, but the 4 faint repeats are always there???

4 faint repeats? Strange, as there is no feedback function. A crossed wire or short perhaps? Check your soldering around pins 14 and 15 of the PT2399, and check for continuity between those two pins, you may have a solder bridge.

Must be the most stupid mistake I ever did. The four faint repeats were coming from a setting on my line6 pod... not from the clari(not)
