Hello,
I've been researching TC possibilities for a "Bounce"-only channel ROG Double D which is a 4049-based distortion

and was looking at the ROG UBE Screamer, which appears to have a 'unique' TC.

Does anyone have experience with the UBE Screamer TC? I'm basically looking for a "simple" TC which accomplishes at least treble cut...

Where would I insert this TC into the Double D/Bounce? After the 4u7 electrolytic? Would I include the 2 100n caps that begin/end the UBE Screamer TC or start with the 100k resistor after the electrolytic?

If anyone has any experience with the TC or suggestions on how to go about this, I'd appreciate it!
Thanks!
Matt

ok, forget the mumbo-jumbo about transferring the tone control  :icon_rolleyes:

Has *anyone* here built the UBE Screamer? If so, what did you think of the tone control?? I've never seen one using an inverter...

Your experiences are much appreciated!

Seams  to work a bit like the TC in the RAT but with the added inverter. If you only want a treble roll off you can always use the same type of passive tone control as used in your guitar. I used that type in a Double D build in conjunction with the vol pot. or use some one of those

The only bad sounding stomp box is an unbuilt stomp box. ;-)

ive built a modified double d, and used the swtc from mark hammer, and it works like a charm. try it, you won't regret it.

thanks for the input guys! so I'm not hearing anything particularly wonderful about the ube screamer TC...SWT, funny you mention the SWTC, I was considering that before getting sidetracked by the ube screamer, I think I'll give that one a shot!
Thanks for the responses
