Rangemaster + LED = Noise?

I'm building a npn rangemaster with the CV7112 from smallbear. It is from MarkM's layout.

My question: Will an led make for more noise than the trouble it takes or will it be noticable in the grand scheme?

Will an led make for more noise than the trouble it takes or will it be noticable in the grand scheme?
  There have been 'light vs. noise' threads, I never noticed any "LED indicator noise" before though.
  I seem to remember a larger value current limiting resistor for the LED having some curative effect somewhere.
