2.5k OHM Potentiometer for DR Boogey

Hey guys,

Im trying to source a 2.5K ohm pot for the "mid" control on a Dr Boogey build.


Ive done a search and come up with a 5k resistor parallel across a 5k pot - seems to be the only option?

Example: Mouser 858-P160KN-0FC18C2K5

Does anyone know anywhere else that would stock these? Im located in Australia and it would cost me $40 to have one pot shipped with Mouser so Im looking for other options

I just used the 5k (actually, a 5.1k) resistor across lugs 1 and 3 on a 5k pot, and it works just fine.

I used 2K pot on mine and it seems fine. It has less mids but this kind of pedal is usually played with mids scooped anyways...
