I'm trying to get very old and long time not used Simens C25 mobile phone to work, battery was so down that the phone did not "see it" and did not start standard charging when charger plugged in. This quick & dirty "defibrillator" put it back to life

Can anyone identify these parts?
Mitsumi brand.
Googling the codes yielded nothing.

They have screwdriver-adjust slots on the top, like a trim pot - but they don't look like any trim pot I know.
Also they have too many legs!

These are variable inductors and intermediate frequency transformers, usually 455 or 460 KHz for AM and 10.7 MHz for FM.  If it is an old stereo, it may have FM multiplex coils for 19 KHz and 38 KHz and ther may be an SCA filter at 67 KHz.  The inductance is adjusted by screwing the ferrite core in and out.

Oh yeah?  I guess that explains the "AM" written on them.

I present to you my latest build, a four day collaboration between my girlfriend and me. 28 plates of Christmas cookies, ready to be wrapped, packed, and shipped to friends and family across the country. 11 varieties. 8+ lbs of butter/shortening.  10+ lbs of sugar. 15+ lbs of flour. Ridiculous quantities of labor.







While it usually takes several years to get on our cookie list, I may have a plate available for the right trade.

What tubes are they?

These are two DM160 indicator tubes http://www.r-type.org/pdfs/dm160.pdf They're the smallest tubes I've ever seen! I'm cascading them into each other for overdrive. I'm running them from a 120v SMPS. They flash in time with my strumming.     But they're microphonic as hell.

Microhonic, eh? I have always wanted to take advantage of something microphonic to make a real "stomp box"... something that, when engaged, does it's thing, plus picks up stage noise. Stomp your foot near it for a "Cush-Cush-Cush" over the top of whatever's being played. Tap the box with your foot for more of a "Tak-Tak-Tak" sound. Seems like a neat idea, to me, lol. I get hypersensitive on stage (I think from blocking out all the stares), and I've found myself paying attention to what the stage feels like, especially when I wear shoes with thinner soles.
