Low Parts Simple Clean Boost?

Anyone know a real low parts count "Clean" booster so I can install it after my vox wha   circuit before the output.  Low current draw?

How about the beginner project?  Doesn't get too much simpler.

  Check out Tim Escebedo's boosters, IIRC there are FET circuits in the super low current draw category there.

I still love the Trotsky for a utility boost circuit.  Get rid of the clipping diodes, swap the 50k gain pot & series resistor for a 33k fixed resistor, use a 2n5088.

Plenty of headroom, pretty clean, low parts count, etc.

I'd say any jfet booster  (that can also work like an output buffer )
