Can anyone check?
Component values below.
This is from some random schematic my friend showed me.

C1: .1uF
C2: 220uF electro
R1: 47k
R2: 100k
D1: Red or blue clear LED
D2: 1n4148 but I'm recycling some 1N4007's
D3: Same as above.
Pot between pins 1 and 8, 5kL, to utilize the gain from the chip.

Umm, there doesn't seem to be any connection between the output cap and the output itself. C2 goes to the 47k then an LED to ground. You need a connection between The negative pole of C2 and the point where R1 and R2 are closest to it, that negative pole of C2. Then the values of C2, R1 and R2 seem to be fairly high and it's also usual to have your two diodes parallel. as opposed to in series, when your using them to clip like that. It won't work without the cap reaching the output but it may work with that conection made. How, I'm not sure. Check out all the other boxes and circuit where the 386 is used as a voltage amp. Search LM386 and be prepared to wade through quite a bit.
Monkey see, monkey do.

yeah there were a couple errors i fixed and i made a new diagram, i will upload it soon, if not, when its breadboarded, which i do plan to do, i will take a picture of it
